So what do you actually lose if you decide to spend a little less? Well military parka jackets are designed for extreme weather conditions so look for the quality of the material. Most of the parka jackets listed above are around £60-£70 which is around half the price of many of the branded parka coats. Also look to see if the hood on your preferred coat is detachable as you may wish to do so in warmer weather conditions. When looking for parka jackets mens coats tend to finish somewhere below the hips and above the knees so look at the length. Also look at the internal lining of parka jacket as this will make a big difference with the amount of heat the coat retains and how many cold drafts are likely to get in.
